Thousands of visitors and hundreds boats floated down to Preston Docks for the annual Riversway Festival.
Preston’s biggest celebration of all things boat took place during the last weekend in July, basking under the summer sun the water looked gorgeous.
The maritime extravaganza included medieval encampments, narrow boats from across the globe, a huge firework display, Jet Ski stunt men plus much, much more.
Chris Selkirk, Preston Council festival and events manager, said: "The Riversway Festival is a lovely event. There's something for all the family to do and to try throughout the whole day.
Councillor Ken Hudson, leader of the council, said: "As a waterway enthusiast myself, Riversway is one of the highlights of the calendar year.
Just in case all the sitting around got too much The Ribble Steam Railway and Museum, situated on Preston Dock, also ran steam trains throughout the day allowing sailors to get inland.
