Bowker Look for Chefs of the Future!
It was all kicking off on Preston docks last weekend, at the launch of the BMW 3 Series Saloon.
Kids, cars, and cooking were all on the agenda, as Bowker BMW went on the search for Lancashire's next top chef.
Being a tier one sponsor of the London 2012 Games, local lad and Olympic swimming hopeful Daniel Sliwinski was in attandance to take a look at the latest addition to the 3 Series range.
Alongside Daniel, celebrity chef Paul Heathcote, dragon slayer and local business star Kirsty Henshaw and Lancashire Life's Philippa 'Tigger's Kitchen' James were all invited down to promote healthy living and healthy eating.
In Bowker's search for Lancashire's next top chef, several hopefuls from local schools entered their bespoke dishes, (consisting of no more than 3 ingredients), to the judging of the man behind some of Lancashire's most successful restaurants.
Coming out on top was this car wheel design by Lucy Rooke from Priory College in Penwortham, using a poached egg, black pudding and mustard, winning herself £100 of Booths shopping vouchers and her parents the chance to drive the new Saloon for a weekend.
