Friday June 1st, 7.30 am and the Town Centre of Chorley is filled with thousands upon thousands of people.

It seems that the whole town has come out to support the 2012 Olympic Torch Relay.

When the local Labour MP Lindsay Hoyle requested that the relay visit Chorley, questions where asked if the good people of Chorley would come out so early in morning to support the event.

They need not have worried.

Paralympians Rik and Natalie Waddon where also on hand to support the Olympic Torch Relay as it was visiting their home town

The BBC Breakfast team from Radio Lancashire broadcasted live from the Flat Iron Car Park in Chorley from 6am - 9am.

Aziz Rashid, Head of Regional and Local Programming for BBC North West and Breakfast Show presenter Graham Liver talked with Lancashire One's Jonny Nelson about their nationwide coverage of the 2012 Olympic Torch Relay.
