Monday afternoon saw the return of the Churches Procession. A tradition dating back to 1842, the procession saw over 90 groups taking part, along with 11 bands, 63 floats and more than 5000 people taking part.
Celebrating the City's historic accosiation with the church, Preston's church communities came out to mark the 2012 Guild in huge number, with an array of brightly decorated banners, vehicles and costumes.
