Thousands of people lined the streets of Leyland to welcome home The King's Royal Hussars form their tour of duty in Afganistan.
Lieutenant Colonel Alex Potts, their commanding officer spoke with Lancashire One's Jonny Nelson about the parade through the town.
The King's Royal Hussars have had the Freedon of the Borough since 1992.
The Mayor of South Ribble Cllr.Colin Clark was also on hand to thank the soldiers personally for all their hard work.
